Get Involved — Volunteer!
When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved through the PTO! We all can work together to help our school provide the best education possible for our kids. Your help is needed to make Forest Ridge Falcons soar!
Complete the following steps to volunteer with Forest Ridge!
STEP 1: Register here on the Forest Ridge PTO website or check to make sure your information is up to date. This will ensure that you receive PTO emails and are included in the printed/on-line school directory. Complete family/student information and any volunteer interests.
If you already have a Membership Toolkit account with another organization,
you can use the same log-in here.
STEP 2: Complete the Forest Ridge Volunteer Interest form and we will be in touch with you!
STEP 3: Please complete the required CSISD volunteer application. According to College Station Independent School District policy, all volunteers must be registered and approved by CSISD to volunteer in the classroom, at school, or for PTO events.
There are other opportunities to serve in support of your child's class. These are coordinated through classroom teachers and not the PTO, but we wanted you to be aware of the opportunities that are available. Please contact your child's teacher if you are interested.
- Grade Level Coordinator - Organize room parents for each classroom for grade level projects, parties and events under the direction of teachers and PTO staff appreciation chairs. Effectively communicate with room parents to achieve common goals.
- Room Parent - Assist teachers with duties according to teachers' needs. Some duties might include communicate with parents regarding classroom and other school events as well as work with other room parents to plan grade level events and projects as directed by the teachers.
- Classroom Volunteer - Assist your teacher with projects such as stuffing Monday folders, helping with small reading groups or project groups and organizing reading materials.
